Detailed Research For Contents Page

These are my various choices of photographs that I would like to use for my contents page. I have decided to use a MALE MODEL to make it clear that the magazine is not the stereotypical girly music magazine or the macho male music magazine. I would like to combine both and not necessarily put a gender on it as in my opinion music has no gender so I am trying to appeal to both genders and a wider age group not just the young.

The first two pictures I have chosen are both young men, not too young/ not too old. This helps appeal to a wider age range and hopefully maximize profits. In addition the photographs are in black and white, I doubt I will adopt the same effect as my front cover is already black and white. However I would enjoy taking photographs with similar poses like the the two black and white photographs. Furthermore I will be taking my photographs for the contents page in a NATURAL ENVIRONMENT which will involve making sure that the weather is good.
Although this photograph is landscape I would like to adopt something like this photograph where it is clear that it is a male but I would like to hide his face to divert the focus from the model and to the INSTRUMENT. I would like to do this because my front cover focuses more on the model than the fact that it is a music magazine. So I would like to make it clear what my magazine is about and not divert the focus of the magazine which is not just the artist but the music created by the artist.

Similarly the last picture is of a male whose face is not shown but his musical instrument is on display. This helps emphasize the purpose of the magazine and the STYLE involved in the magazine. The photo looks like it has been taken before the sun goes down which has a very calm effect to the picture. However I will be taking my photographs during the DAYTIME to reveal and display the beauty of the model during the daytime.
